Detroit Loses…Again.

Poor Detroit.  Their baseball team underperformed all season, when they should hasve run away with the division.  They lost that one game playoff to the Twins.

Oh, and did we mention the economy? Yeah, that too.

Now, another blow: Detroit’s losing its WNBA team to Tulsa.

A group of investors will formally apply to buy the team, and a decision is expected by the league at the end of the month: the team would move next season.

The Shock, who lost in the playoffs after rallying to reach them this year, have suffered even more than other WNBA teams from bad ticket sales and declining interest, even though they won the championship as recently as 2008.

Just another sad day in Detroit…
